Laboratory I is a collection of head ornaments made out of horn.
A laboratory is above all experimental. Originally, the whole thing was about working on this  topic for a period of three months. I wanted to develop an idea left behind during my diploma. The experience went on in different contexts of presentation. First, there was an exhibition in a gallery in Brussels. Then, a show for the So Fresh Award in the 8th festival for fashion & photography in Vienna. Finally, Caroline Van Hoek Gallery published a catalog in which this body of works appears next to drawings. I am interested in how such different contexts influence the objects.
